While in Toronto buy a Tilley hat! They are great and wide brimmed. See https://ca.tilley.com/

Lifetime guaranteed to never wear out. And they are practically indestructible. An elephant ate one and after it came through, after a thorough washing it was claimed to be just fine (although I don't think I would wear it).

I clicked through to make this very comment. My T3 Tilley hat served me very well through many sites in Israel. They have several styles and many colours.

(The hat in the elephant story belongs to the elephant keeper at the Toronto Zoo. Tilley wants one of his hats for their museum. The elephant at least tries to get and eat the hat regularly, and sometimes succeeds. The keeper washes it and keeps wearing it. It seems to be a game they play.)

I swear by my Barmah hat (mine is leather with a mesh top), but they make the canvas drover, which is non-leather. The Tilley is a very good hat and all non-leather.

There is a war going on in Israel. Why are you trotting the globe business as usual? Is that not your claim against chareidim?

*Please* tell me you're not that dense.

So the chareidim are doing at least one thing right:-)

The INPA makes a great hat for people like you and me. It's green (of course) with a wide brim. I had skin cancer about 5 years ago and lost a part of my ear. So, when you're outside (like in your garden or at the museum) make sure you wear more than a kippa.

Very nice story.

I never heard of a Tilley hat before but after looking at the pix from the link that was posted I realized I have seen people wearing them. My next hat.. if they're available in Israel. Are they sold lin the USA? I'm going there in Jan to visit my kids.

😄😄. Just went to a combat medic talk. Very moving and not only the helicopter pilot, but his wife spoke and related helping people at a local Makolet- who could not afford food because they are out in מילואים.
