Honestly, given your track record, even though there appears to a large frog by that name, I would not be surprised if that picture were photoshopped in some way.

But...that frog's look. He's thinking, "I wish my skin were toxic like all the cool kids."

I note that your post was published on Motzei Shabbat, Israel time.

April Fools Day pranks can only be done up until midday of the 1st of April.

This really surprises me that you would twist the Minhag far beyond the allotted time allowed.

I am not aware of any Poskim that accept this as valid after midday.

Maybe other readers are aware of who allows such a קולא.

He plays pranks on his readers the whole year around. Like he'll say that there is no source from Chazal for the protection of Torah or that Kollel is forbidden by Chazal. April Fools' Day is the only day that he admits to doing so.

By his fourth or fifth clarification on why people should get the totally obvious joke and not be taken by the authoritative tone, he will claim such a source exists but refuse to name it.

I can see that this is a question about Judaism, but how is it rationalist? It looks empiricist.

I bet that by the "laws" of reptilian biology, any huge creature to be worthy of the name "frog" could not possibly exist. Stuff like the ratio of mass to skin surface area could not live outside water.

2nd, due today's widespread use of photoshopping, nobody believes photo evidence anymore, not even for a hava-amina. Photographs have lost the little credibility they ever had.

The African bullfrog (Pyxicephalus adspersus), also known as the Giant bullfrog or the South African Burrowing Frog, is a species of frog in the family Pyxicephalidae. It is also known as the pixie frog due to its scientific name. aThe males weigh up to 1.4 kg (3.1 lb) and grow to 24.5 cm (9.6 in) in snout–to–vent length. Females are half the size of males.
