Just when you’re absolutely 100% certain that the chareidi gedoylim and askonim have hit rock bottom, lower than which cannot be imagined, you have this double tragedy of שתים רעות, a _physical life and death tragedy_, of course, for innocent babies and toddlers and their parents, and a _spiritual life and death tragedy_ for an entire community misled by the depraved.

You could also have added:

SEVEN: Poverty is glorified in charedi society as mark of holiness. They have a point here - some very religious people take vows of poverty but also chastity and obedience. It is just the wrong religion. In Judaism you need to be wealthy to be a judge or member of the Sanhedrin (would be interesting to figure out who would qualify to be on it today from Bnei Brak and Mea Shearim) but there is no leadership position that requires one to be poor. We aim to avoid it precisely so we can lead healthy and dignified lives, observe halacha properly and don't need to cut corners.

EIGHT: There has been no society in history, including Jewish history, where mothers are expected to be the sole breadwinners and in charge of childcare. This is an unreasonable expectation made all the more unreasonable when there are large numbers of children. It is bound to lead to tragedy, poverty and a seriously dysfunctional family. It is yet another illustration that charedi norms are an entirely 20th century invention that no previous society has ever adopted

At this moment of tragedy, I turn to the "Rationalist Judaism" community to express my shock, grief, and anger. A Hatzalah member described the squalid conditions in this "daycare" center: “We heard children screaming, we went in and checked and what did we find? That there were children in closets, in strollers, everywhere, hidden on top of one another with blankets.” I hope that the Haredi camp in Israel rebels against the societal expectations that have led them into their morass of economic depredation. Not surprisingly, the Haredi leadership is scapegoating the Zionists (and their draft laws) for this tragedy.

Only 3 caretakers for 55 young children…Hareidim don’t give a damn how to properly take care of children….

Charedim are saying they will put their kids in unsafe ganim unless they are given money to pay for safer ganim. When they equally have the option of going to work to pay for safe ganim.

That basically means they are taking their kids hostage, saying "we will willingly endanger our kids' lives if you don't give us money". Disgusting.

Now that charedim are burning their own babies to death in the name of the kollel system and not working, one wonders how much it differs from Molech worship.

Indeed. The religion they are practicing may perhaps not qualify as literal Avoda Zara, but it does not qualify as Judaism either.

They worship elderly confused men. Pretty much Idolatry with a capital “I”

Substack has recently been full of accusations against Zionist Baby Killers committing genocide in Gaza. And I have been banned from responding to many of these blood libels!
