Getting into the mood
Great idea! Ksiva vchasima tova!
Thanks for maintaining an active commenting community! May it be a good year for you, your family, and most especially your amazing daughter!
Underratedly important, Maharil makes the point that knowing the tunes is important for kavana, see Rema beginning of 619 and Mishna brura there about not changing the tunes the people are used to
Thanks so much for all the work you do all year for klal Yisrael! Vechain lemar!
Really appreciate the blog, and your written works.
This is awesome, btw.
So, I sat down to listen to this expecting to learn a bunch of crazy British nigunim and instead found a bunch of Gush nigunim 😂
(which is great, b/c those are my nigunim too!)
Ergo, the Gush is British!

Kativa v’Chatima Tova to you and your loved ones. Thanks for all you do.

Very nice. I have a large list of the best (subjective) RHYK melodies here: https://medium.com/@stuart.izon/melodies-of-rosh-hashana-yom-kippur-781e2dfb7987
Also the B'ein Melitz Yosher you included should resonate with us even more this year. Its composer Jeffrey Craimer was niftar last week.
Shana Tova
Gosh, I knew about Jeffrey, I didn't realize he composed that.
He also wrote a well known Ezk’ra Elohim V’ehemaya https://www.facebook.com/61400968/videos/10104085376819515
My favorite Ezkera is from Avrumi Flam: https://youtu.be/FfUlKS_VQUI?si=gu1e_aeNsgZkRvoB
