The haredi on the stretcher isn't unattractive grotesque, or overtly menacing, he's just clueless and slowing down the soldiers. Much less antisemitic than the caricature of secular Jewish Israeli teachers.

Another reason that the Makor Rishon cartoon is not antisemitic is that the religion of the Haredim is not Judaism. Judaism is monotheistic. The Haredim worship more than one god: the Real One + 1 or more Rabbis. The false gods of the hassidim are the Admorim. The false gods of the Litvaks are the "Gedoilim".

That's irrelevant. "antisemitism" is unrelated to religion: "Antisemitism ... is hostility to, prejudice towards, or discrimination against Jews."

"The charedim have already made it very, very clear that they are absolutely not willing to change, and not even to identify and enlist young men who are not learning"

How true of a statement, basically nothing will change their mind set. Reason or argument will just fall on deaf ears. They are just not going to serve -full stop!.

The only thing that will change them is force -JAIL or even better they leave the country for brighter futures in societies that will allow them to get out of serving and would provide them with money to exist.

"The only thing that will change them is force -JAIL" - cutting off funding is much more likely to lead to change

Also revoke their Israeli citizenship. I think there already is a law that provides for the revocation of the citizenship of traitors.

This cartoon is absolutely a necessary critique. It's not anti-semitic, it's just the truth.

This is like when they call fellow Jews “Nazis” for opposing self-serving Chareidi policies. It’s meaningless.

Is the “Dennis the Menace”-looking kid (giant?) in the first chareidi cartoon holding… an artichoke?
