I’m pleased to announce the release of the audio version of my book Rationalism vs. Mysticism: Schisms in Traditional Jewish Thought, the book which explains the underlying theological debate at the heart of the controversy over my books and so many other topics. Thanks to Mordechai Gordon for recording and producing it!
The audio version is free for paid subscribers to RationalistJudaism, and will be released in installments. In this post, the acknowledgement and preface are available for all to download, and the introduction for paid subscribers only. The full audio version will be available soon for purchase at the Biblical Museum of Natural History website. (The audio version will not include the second part of the book, which has in-depth studies of several of the sub-topics; you can only read that in the printed version, which you can purchase on the website of the Biblical Museum of Natural History.) The audio files are embedded below as downloadable files, but you can also listen to them via Spotify, Apple Podcasts etc. using the links above.
Meanwhile, Mamdani isn’t the only revolutionary getting a foothold in New York. I’m not interested in globalizing the Intifada, but I am interested in spreading word about how the animal world of the Torah demonstrates the Jewish People’s connection to the Land of Israel and refutes the anti-Israel academic crowd, as discussed in my new book The Lions Of Zion, along with presentations on other topics. I’m coming next week, spending next Shabbos in Philadelphia, and I’ll also be speaking in the Five Towns (see flyer below) along with Brooklyn and Monsey (details to come); we’re still looking for a venue to do a book launch in Teaneck, so please be in touch with Ellen, our head of advancement, if you have a shul for that:
And here’s the audio files for Rationalism vs. Mysticism:
