Are we indigenous ? The Torah tells us that Avrohom Ovinu came from Ur-Kasdim in Aram-Nohoroim (Mesopotamia). Hashem gave us the land of Eretz Yisroel, but we are not indigenous to it.
Hashem said that the Yisralim did not merit to inherit the land of Israel but because of the sins of the Canaanites they will conquer it and inherit it.The Yisraelim were in control for over a thousand years.
