Wild.

Similar to the moral panic/ conspiracy theories relating to Jeffrey Epstein (unpopular opinion, I'm aware that this conspiracy theory is mainstream/majority opinion)

Dorothy Rabinowitz (WSJ) was a leading journalist in this field.

There is a big difference between physical and sexual abuse - relatively easily documented- and psychological abuse, which is more difficult to determine.

To be clear: there are sexual/physicaal abusers out there.

The sexual abusers, BH, are far and few between and deserve punishment to the full extent of the law. There have been many falsely accused as well. Read Rabinowitz.

The physical abusers? There is a spectrum. Standard חרדי practice is to pahtch disrespectful students. Some of that is ongoing and leads to the argument of corporeal punishment (I am not a fan) for children.
